• Secured and managed more than $500,000 in grant funding for digital equity, accessibility, technology access, digital literacy, and community engagement.

• Facilitated more than 25 structured community conversations designed to build understanding, trust, and collective action.

• Developed partnerships and programs with the United Nations, the City of Beverly, American Jewish World Service, Zen Center North Shore, and other local and international organizations.

• Advanced ADA accessibility and inclusive design through public-space modernization and expanded access to civic resources and services.

• Built a nationally and internationally recognized arts and culture platform through Fahari Records Inc., producing and facilitating more than 30 concerts annually.

 

LEADERSHIP ACROSS SECTORS

Wangari serves as Executive Director and former Interim President of Small Solutions Big Ideas.

Through SSBI, she mobilizes partnerships and resources supporting education, regenerative agriculture, youth leadership, sports development, and economic empowerment in underserved communities across Africa and beyond.

She is also the founder of Fahari Records Inc., established in 2012. Through music, cultural programming, and creative enterprise, Fahari Records advances philanthropy, human rights, cultural exchange, and community connection.
